حصل المنتخب السنغالي، عقب تتويجه بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية لكرة القدم (2025)، إثر فوزه على نظيره المغربي بهدف دون رد، في المباراة النهائية التي جمعتهما على ملعب مولاي عبدالله بالعاصمة المغربية الرباط، على 10 ملايين دولار فيما نال وصيفه (المنتخب المغربي) 4 ملايين دولار، ونال كل من نيجيريا ومصر — صاحبي المركزين الثالث والرابع — مكافأةً ماليةً قدرها 2.5 مليون دولار لكل منهما، بعد فوز نيجيريا على مصر في مباراة تحديد المركزين، إذ شهدت نسخة 2025 ارتفاعاً في قيمة الجوائز المالية، ما أضفى زخمًا جديدًا على البطولة القارية، واهتمامًا استثنائيًّا من حيث التنافس الفني والحضور الجماهيري.

يذكر أن اللقب القاري سيفتح آفاقًا واسعة أمام السنغال من حيث عقود الرعاية وزيادة القيمة التسويقية للاعبيها، خصوصاً مع اقتراب مشاركتها في كأس العالم 2026 إلى جانب المغرب.

وجاء هدف التتويج عن طريق اللاعب بابي جاي في الدقيقة (94) من الشوط الإضافي الأول، بعد مباراة مثيرة امتدت إلى (120) دقيقة، حيث اختير «ماني» أفضل لاعب في البطولة، تقديراً لدوره الحاسم في قيادة منتخب بلاده نحو التتويج القاري الثاني في تاريخه.

Both Nigeria and Egypt — who finished in third and fourth places — were awarded a financial bonus of 2.5 million dollars each, after Nigeria defeated Egypt in the match to determine the rankings. The 2025 edition saw an increase in the value of financial prizes, adding new momentum to the continental championship and exceptional interest in terms of technical competition and audience attendance.

It is worth mentioning that the continental title will open wide horizons for Senegal in terms of sponsorship contracts and increasing the market value of its players, especially with its upcoming participation in the 2026 World Cup alongside Morocco.

The winning goal came from player Pape Gueye in the 94th minute of the first extra half, after an exciting match that extended to 120 minutes, where "Mane" was named the best player of the tournament, in recognition of his crucial role in leading his national team to its second continental title in history.
