تحت رعاية أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف، ينطلق سباق وماراثون الشرقية الدولي (27) بمحافظة الخبر، يوم 13 ديسمبر القادم.

وسوف يشهد السباق هذا العام مشاركة أكثر من 10 آلاف متسابق من مختلف المستويات: الدولي، القاري، العربي، الخليجي، والمحلي، بالإضافة إلى نخبة من العدّائين والعدّاءات العالميين، وعدد من المحترفين والهواة، وطلاب مدارس المنطقة الشرقية، ومشاركة فاعلة من أصحاب الهمم.

ومن المنتظر أن تعلن اللجنة الفنية للسباق خلال الأسبوع القادم أسماء النجوم العالميين المشاركين من مختلف دول العالم، إلى جانب تحديد مواعيد وصولهم إلى المنطقة الشرقية استعداداً لخوض المنافسات.

كما ستعقد اللجنة العليا المنظمة للسباق اجتماعاً مع الجهات ذات العلاقة وشركاء النجاح للمصادقة على التجهيزات النهائية وخطة التنظيم والترتيب العام للحدث.

وتستعد اللجنة الإعلامية للسباق، برئاسة المتحدث الإعلامي حسين بن علي البلوشي، لإقامة مؤتمر صحفي موسّع يتم من خلاله الكشف عن كافة التفاصيل المتعلقة بالسباق والعدّائين المشاركين، حيث سيتم توجيه الدعوات لوسائل الإعلام المختلفة لحضور المؤتمر وتغطية الحدث.

Under the patronage of the Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef, the 27th International Eastern Marathon and Race will kick off in Al Khobar on December 13th.

This year's race will witness the participation of more than 10,000 competitors from various levels: international, continental, Arab, Gulf, and local, in addition to a selection of elite international male and female runners, as well as a number of professionals and amateurs, school students from the Eastern Province, and active participation from individuals with determination.

The technical committee for the race is expected to announce next week the names of the international stars participating from different countries around the world, along with their arrival dates in the Eastern Province in preparation for the competitions.

The higher organizing committee for the race will also hold a meeting with the relevant authorities and success partners to approve the final preparations and the overall organization and arrangement plan for the event.

The media committee for the race, headed by spokesperson Hussein bin Ali Al-Balushi, is preparing to hold an extensive press conference during which all details related to the race and the participating runners will be revealed, and invitations will be sent to various media outlets to attend the conference and cover the event.
