The head of the English Football Regulatory Authority, "David Coogan," revealed the expected date for the hearing regarding Manchester City, which is accused of over 100 financial breaches.

Coogan explained in his talk to Times Radio that the league is aiming to resolve the case during the current season, indicating that the file will be presented to an independent committee comprising three retired judges, as part of a legal process that will last 12 weeks, suggesting that the case may be reviewed in mid or late January.

City currently tops the league table with a perfect score after six consecutive victories, the latest being a 3-0 win against Liverpool, despite its continuous assertion of innocence regarding all charges.

Sports circles are anticipating potential penalties, which could include a significant points deduction that may lead to the team's relegation, along with hints about the possibility of stripping the league titles it won between 2009 and 2018.
