حذّر تحالف العيون الخمس الاستخباراتي من أن نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي تتطور بوتيرة تفوق التوقعات، وقد تتجاوز خلال أشهر قدرات الأمن السيبراني الحالية، في تحول يرفع مستوى التهديدات الرقمية عالميًا.

وجاء التحذير بعد إعلان شركة (أنثروبيك) الأمريكية أن اثنين من نماذجها المتقدمة أظهرا قدرة غير مسبوقة على اكتشاف ثغرات البرمجيات، الأمر الذي دفع البيت الأبيض إلى التدخل وطلب تعليق الوصول إليهما احترازيًا.

وأكّدت الوكالات الأمنية في الولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة وأستراليا وكندا ونيوزيلندا أن التطور السريع للذكاء الاصطناعي يجعل الافتراضات التقليدية حول المخاطر السيبرانية عرضة للتقادم خلال أشهر بدلًا من سنوات، مشيرة إلى أن هذه التقنيات تقلّص الحواجز أمام الجهات الخبيثة وتزيد من سرعة الهجمات وتعقيدها.

وأوضح التحالف أن ظهور ثغرات جديدة أمر متوقع، لكن الاستعداد المسبق يمكّن المؤسسات من السيطرة عليها قبل أن تتحول إلى أزمات تشغيلية أو مالية واسعة.

ودعا البيان الحكومات والشركات إلى التحرك السريع ودمج أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي في عملياتها الدفاعية، وتحديث الأنظمة القديمة، وتقييد الوصول إلى الأنظمة الحيوية، مؤكداً أن الخصوم يستخدمون الذكاء الاصطناعي بالفعل في عملياتهم الهجومية. كما شدد على أهمية تسريع تثبيت التحديثات الأمنية، ومراجعة الأنظمة المتاحة عبر الإنترنت، والتخلص من البنى التقنية التي لم تعد تحصل على دعم أو تحديثات، إلى جانب تعزيز وسائل التحقق ومراجعة الصلاحيات بشكل دوري.

وأكّد التحالف أن الأمن السيبراني لم يعد مسألة تقنية فحسب، بل أصبح عنصرًا أساسيًا في استمرارية الأعمال وثقة السوق، محذرًا من أن المؤسسات التي تتأخر في التحرك ستواجه مخاطر كان بالإمكان تجنبها، في ظل سباق متسارع بين قدرات الهجوم والدفاع في الفضاء الرقمي.

The Five Eyes intelligence alliance warned that artificial intelligence models are evolving at a pace that exceeds expectations and could surpass current cybersecurity capabilities within months, in a shift that raises the level of digital threats globally.

The warning came after the American company Anthropic announced that two of its advanced models demonstrated unprecedented ability to detect software vulnerabilities, prompting the White House to intervene and request a precautionary suspension of access to them.

Security agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand confirmed that the rapid development of artificial intelligence makes traditional assumptions about cyber risks prone to obsolescence within months instead of years, noting that these technologies lower barriers for malicious actors and increase the speed and complexity of attacks.

The alliance explained that the emergence of new vulnerabilities is expected, but prior preparedness enables organizations to control them before they turn into widespread operational or financial crises.

The statement urged governments and companies to act swiftly and integrate artificial intelligence tools into their defensive operations, update legacy systems, and restrict access to critical systems, emphasizing that adversaries are already using artificial intelligence in their offensive operations. It also stressed the importance of accelerating the installation of security updates, reviewing online systems, and eliminating outdated technical infrastructures that no longer receive support or updates, along with enhancing verification methods and periodically reviewing permissions.

The alliance affirmed that cybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue, but has become a fundamental element of business continuity and market confidence, warning that organizations that delay action will face risks that could have been avoided, amid a rapidly escalating race between attack and defense capabilities in the digital space.
