أعلنت السلطات الألمانية، صباح اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن رجلاً أطلق النار على أحد أفراد الشرطة وأصابه بجروح، قبل أن يتحصن داخل شقة في مدينة دورتموند غربي البلاد برفقة أطفاله الثلاثة، ما استدعى تنفيذ عملية أمنية واسعة النطاق.

وعلى إثر الحادث، دفعت الشرطة بوحدات خاصة وفرق تفاوض إلى الموقع. ووفقاً للسلطات، فإن المشتبه به، البالغ من العمر 51 عاماً، أطلق النار أثناء استجابة الشرطة لبلاغ طارئ تقدمت به امرأة مساء الثلاثاء. وأسفر الحادث عن إصابة شرطي بجروح طفيفة بعدما اخترقت رصاصة سترة الحماية التي كان يرتديها.

وأكدت السلطات أنها تمكنت من التواصل مع المشتبه به، لكنها أشارت إلى أن الوضع لا يزال يشكل تهديداً قائماً، في ظل غموض الدوافع والملابسات المحيطة بالحادث، بما في ذلك ما إذا كانت الشقة التي يتحصن داخلها تعود له.

وأوضحت الشرطة أن الأطفال الثلاثة لا يزالون داخل الشقة، مع ترجيحات بعدم تعرضهم لأي أذى، مؤكدة في الوقت ذاته عدم وجود خطر على السكان أو المارة في المنطقة. كما امتنعت عن تأكيد ما أوردته صحيفة «بيلد» بشأن احتجاز الرجل لأطفاله كرهائن.

من جانبها، ذكرت صحيفة «بيلد» أن المشتبه به أثار حالة من الفوضى داخل أحد المطاعم، حيث هدد بعض الزبائن واستخدم رذاذ الفلفل قبل أن يلوذ بالفرار بسيارته. وأضافت الصحيفة أنه يُشتبه في إطلاقه النار عبر نافذة السيارة أثناء محاولة الشرطة توقيفه، ما أدى إلى إصابة أحد عناصرها. إلا أن الشرطة لم تؤكد هذه الرواية حتى الآن.

The German authorities announced this morning (Wednesday) that a man shot one of the police officers, injuring him, before barricading himself inside an apartment in the city of Dortmund in western Germany along with his three children, prompting a large-scale security operation.

In response to the incident, the police deployed special units and negotiation teams to the site. According to the authorities, the suspect, who is 51 years old, opened fire while the police were responding to an emergency call made by a woman on Tuesday evening. The incident resulted in a police officer sustaining minor injuries after a bullet penetrated the protective vest he was wearing.

The authorities confirmed that they were able to communicate with the suspect, but they indicated that the situation still poses an ongoing threat, given the ambiguity surrounding the motives and circumstances of the incident, including whether the apartment he is barricaded in belongs to him.

The police clarified that the three children are still inside the apartment, with indications that they have not been harmed, while also confirming that there is no danger to residents or passersby in the area. They refrained from confirming reports from the newspaper "Bild" regarding the man holding his children hostage.

For its part, the newspaper "Bild" reported that the suspect caused a commotion inside a restaurant, where he threatened some customers and used pepper spray before fleeing in his car. The newspaper added that he is suspected of firing through the car window while the police attempted to stop him, resulting in one of their officers being injured. However, the police have not yet confirmed this account.
