استقبل المشيعون قبل قليل جنازة الرئيس اليمني السابق عبد ربه منصور هادي في جامع الإمام تركي بن عبدالله بمدينة الرياض، وسط أجواء غلب عليها الحزن والتأثر، حيث توافد عدد من المسؤولين والشخصيات السياسية والدبلوماسية وأبناء الجالية اليمنية للمشاركة في مراسم التشييع وتوديع الرئيس الراحل.

وأُديت الصلاة على الفقيد في الجامع الكبير بالعاصمة السعودية، قبل أن يُنقل جثمانه إلى مقبرة العود حيث ووري الثرى، في مشهد عكس المكانة السياسية التي حظي بها هادي خلال مسيرته التي امتدت لعقود في خدمة اليمن.

وفي اليمن، أُديت صلاة الغائب على الرئيس الراحل عقب صلاة الجمعة في عدد من المدن والمحافظات، فيما استذكرت شخصيات سياسية وإعلامية وأكاديمية أدواره خلال المراحل المفصلية التي شهدتها البلاد، خصوصاً خلال فترة الانتقال السياسي ومواجهة انقلاب ميليشيا الحوثي.

ورحل هادي عن عمر ناهز 81 عاماً، بعد مسيرة سياسية وعسكرية طويلة تقلد خلالها مناصب عدة، أبرزها رئاسة الجمهورية، ليبقى اسمه مرتبطاً بمحطات مفصلية في تاريخ اليمن الحديث، وفي مقدمتها الدفاع عن الشرعية والدعوة إلى الحفاظ على مؤسسات الدولة ووحدة البلاد

The mourners recently received the funeral of former Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, amidst an atmosphere dominated by sadness and emotion, as a number of officials, political and diplomatic figures, and members of the Yemeni community gathered to participate in the funeral rites and bid farewell to the late president.

The prayer for the deceased was held at the grand mosque in the Saudi capital, before his body was transferred to Al-Oud Cemetery where he was laid to rest, in a scene that reflected the political stature Hadi enjoyed during his decades-long service to Yemen.

In Yemen, a funeral prayer for the late president was held after Friday prayers in several cities and provinces, while political, media, and academic figures recalled his roles during the pivotal stages the country experienced, particularly during the political transition and the confrontation with the Houthi militia coup.

Hadi passed away at the age of 81, after a long political and military career during which he held several positions, most notably the presidency, leaving his name associated with pivotal moments in modern Yemeni history, foremost among them the defense of legitimacy and the call to preserve state institutions and the unity of the country.
